Welcome to the World Oakley!

What a few weeks it has been! First and foremost we would like to thank you all for baring with us during this time. The last few weeks of Tanja's pregnancy were full of twists and turns, but this past Monday Oakley decided to join us and we couldn't be happier. She is perfect in every way.

I have so much to share with you all as we continue to grow so much during this time. Leading up to birth there were moments of frustration, fear, and anxiety. There were cries out to God both before and after the birth. We look forward to sharing some of these growth moments with you all soon in our own transparent way.

We love all of you and we ask for your continued prayers for both Oakley and momma. Your support, texts, calls, and definitely the meals have meant soooo much to us during this time of adjustment. We don't know what we do without our church family. And an extra special shout out to our Children's Pastor Nick Magana. His friendship, words of encouragement, and continued support of our family have been a testament to his love for God and his commitment to our church family. Our church has a very special person in a very special positon and we couldn't be more thankful.

The blog will resume very soon as things begin to fall into more of a routine at home but I figured I would share an official update for those wondering where we have been. We love you and we look forward to continuing down this path of Unimaginable Faith with you all soon!

God is so good and his plan for us is perfect, his promises are true, and we are who he says we are! We are children of the one true king! Thank you father for the promise you have placed in our lives and the miracle that Oakley is. Thank you for continuing to mold us and shape us as we continue to pursue you in new and unimaginable ways!
